Master degree with specialization in Environment Protection and Nature Conservation from St. Petersburg Forest Technical Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia, 1997. I am an Environmental Specialist having more than 20 years of experience in different multi donor supported projects to deliver environmental safeguard.Mr. Shrestha have sound knowledge in diverse project design, planning, environmental screening, I have sound knowledge in diverse project planning, design, environmental assessment, implementation, monitoring and reportingand reporting, conducted many environmental assessments, biodiversity assessment, urban development, water supply,hydropower etc. Mr. Shrestha have developed different project specific environmental guidelines, manuals, screening checklist, ToR of environmental assessment, EMP.I am quite familiar with GoN environmental rules and regulation, guidelines, climate change policy of GoN and International protocol, agreement and ADB, World Bank Environmental and Social Safeguard standard, polices and has successfully enforced such policy, guidelines during preparation and implementation of projects. I have involved in number of review missions of the different projects, provide feedback knowledge sharing on environmental safeguard.

I have conducted Capacity building training on environmental safeguard to different stakeholders in different projects such as project staffs, contractors, project users. Mr. Shrestha have also deep knowledge on bio-engineering. I have conducted bio-engineering training to supervision team, contractors, community users’ groups.
